NEWINGTON EDUCATION ON THE NORTH SHORE

The Campus at Lindfield, (initially opened at Killara in 1957) came from a demand from families to have a Newington education available on the North Shore of Sydney before their boys travelled to Stanmore for secondary school.

The Preparatory School quickly established and has always maintained a reputation as a small Newington satellite with swimming pool, courts beautiful gardens and an intimate knowledge of the boys and their families. Today visitors to our school regularly remark upon the warmth and friendliness of both the students and staff. When a boy joins Lindfield we do more than enrol a student – we take in a family.

A PYP SCHOOL

Recent building projects and the School’s certification as an International Baccalaureate World School offering the Primary Years Programme (PYP) now sees Lindfield K-6 providing an educational experience for our boys that is globally focused, while also significant and meaningful to the world they know. Rich use of technology in the classroom offers boys the engagement and challenge they seek and many ways to inquire and demonstrate what excites them in their day to day learning
