About the headmaster
Dr David Mulford BEco DipEd MEd EdD FACEDr David Mulford succeeded Mr David Scott as the Headmaster of Newington College at the start of 2009.
In order to achieve excellence in the education of boys Dr Mulford believes in providing a learning environment that is purposeful, imaginative and enjoyable to nurture student potential, foster sound personal values and attributes and encourage an understanding and acceptance of a spiritual and moral basis to life.
He professes a great passion for the education of young people and enjoys the complex role of Headship. His background makes him perfectly suited to the challenge of serving a long-established and highly respected school specialising in the education of boys and young men. On a personal note Dr Mulford enjoys golf and has played and coached rugby and cricket. He is married to Judy, who has a background with design and art galleries. They have three adult children living in Sydney. David is a capable public speaker and enjoys demonstrated success as a leader and administrator of education at the highest levels of the profession. |
