Wyvern House is one of Australia's finest, best designed and equipped primary schools.

Classrooms at Wyvern House are spacious, with plenty of room for class activities, dedicated storage bays for the boys' property and adjoining 'Withdrawal Rooms', which allow for separate work to be done as well as individual tutoring.

The Library/Resource Centre encourages independent learning as well as providing for class lessons, small groups, research work and recreational reading. The Computer Laboratory is an essential aspect of modern schooling. Here pupils gain competence in using information technology. This centre is connected to the Senior Library, providing for greater resource access for students and staff.

A large rooftop covered area provides a playground for the boys protected from wet weather or scorching summer sun. Physical Education is also conducted in this space, along with a variety of general activities.

Other valuable facilities include subject-specific labs and studios for Languages, Science, Art and Music. There are also special meeting rooms for school organisations. A large Assembly Hall enables the whole Preparatory School to gather for meetings, concerts and other activities.

A well-equipped kitchen adjoins the Hall. There are a number of sizeable outside recreation areas, including a basketball/tennis court, and the boys are serviced at lunch and recess by and adjacent tuckshop.

Wyvern House boys are also able to take advantage of the extensive grounds and facilities of the Secondary School, which is only a few minutes walk away.

Undercover Drop Off/Pick Up Area

Picking up and dropping off is a breeze, as the school has a drive-through drop-off and collection facility underneath the building. This enables safe all-weather movement of students.
