Motivated TO LEAD

Will Van Asperen
Public Speaking

We believe that our community is enhanced by providing frequent opportunities for boys to take on leadership roles within the School.

Leadership, teamwork and initiative take many forms at Newington.

From structured programs such as the Newington College Cadet Unit, one of the oldest continuously running units in the country to the unique prefect system, boys develop self confidence and the skills to meet new challenges. House activities, in class learning, peer support, transition programs, sporting teams and co-curricular activities also allow boys to take on leadership roles in both traditional and less conventional areas. We provide a broad range of opportunity for Newington boys to develop strong communication and relationship building skills that will carry them forward in their futures.

Over our history, Newington has educated a long list of men who have become Notable Old Newingtons.
