The Newington Community

The Newington Community

The Newington community encompases all
stakeholders, including staff, students, council
members and old boys. There are a number of
dedicated and hard-working groups who share
the common aim of enhancing the lives of boys
attending the College.

There are many ways for parents to take part
in the life of the school at Newington. As well
as the Parents & Friends Association and its
subsidiary, the Women's Group, there are a
number of sporting and cultural groups who play
a vital role in supporting programs and events.

There is a very active Old Newingtonians' Union (ONU), a College Foundation and an alumni network of almost 10,000 old boys.

The Newington community includes:
• Present parents, staff and students
• The Parents and Friends Associations and related support groups
• Old Boys of the College
• ONU and related Old Boys' organisations
• Past staff and parents
• Present and past Council members and friends of the College
