THE 70 CLUB

All Old Boys over 70 years, whether they have taken up Life Membership or not, are eligible to attend the Club's two lunches, held in March & September.

70 Club Lunch

Older Newingtonians

The 70 Club commenced in September 1998 to enable Old Boys aged 70 years or more to renew friendships through informal lunches at the College. Club membership currently totals around 160 Old Boys but all Old Boys over 70 years, whether they have taken up Life Membership or not, are eligible to attend the Club's two lunches, held in March & September.

Attendance at lunches has progressively increased as Old Boys enjoyed the contact and collegiality among this special 'seniors' group. Each lunch is preceded by a short tour of a particular College facility and includes a welcome from the Headmaster or his nominee.

Club life membership costs $50.00. In addition the ONU has offered Union Life Membership to 70 Club members for an additional $60.00. A 70 Club membership form can be downloaded or details can be obtained from the 70 Club Secretary.
