Second Hand Book Exchange

Book Exchange
Second Hand Book Exchange

This has helped provide funds for the highly successful Literature Festival.

Taking place after the final exams each year, the Newington Second Hand Book Exchange is a voluntary service administered by the Newington Women's Group.

It provides invaluable support to students and their families by enabling students to recycle their compulsory textbooks.

YEAR 12 STUDENTS

Yr 12 information form

Yr 12 selling form

Even though Year 12 2009 is leaving Newington College, students still have the opportunity to sell their textbooks and study guides through the Second Hand Book Exchange.

To sell Year 12 texts please complete your name and contact details on the selling form. Clearly mark the books for sale. Study guides are also accepted. Please write Study Guide titles in the appropriate place on the form or add a page if necessary. With the release of new editions or changes of texts, only books required by the College in 2010 and their associated study guides will be accepted for sale.

Bundle books and selling forms in a bag and deliver to L27 from Wednesday 18 November – Wednesday 25 November 2009.

Thank you for supporting the Second Hand Book Exchange, and we wish you good luck and success in your future endeavours.

ALL STUDENTS

Years 7-11 Information Flyer

All students have the opportunity to recycle their books. Start cleaning up your textbooks and study guides for sale now.

The Book Exchange this year will be held immediately following the End-of-Year Exams.

Payment by Cash, Cheque or Credit Card accepted.
(Cheques payable to Newington Second Hand Book Exchange).

A small profit is also made from the buying and selling of these books. In previous years this has helped provide funds for the highly successful Literature Festival, contributed toward the English Department's innovative Wide Reading Program and funded the annual English Incentive Awards to the most improved student in each Year 10 English class.
