cricketsupport@newingtoncollege.nsw.edu.au The Cricket Support Group has been formed to promote and financially support cricket across the whole College – facilitating camaraderie between parents and other tragics, encouraging overall participation in the sport and most importantly fostering the ‘Spirit of Cricket’.BENEFITS FOR ALLThe CSG aims to raise funds for the supply of equipment and coaches to all age groups and levels of proficiency. Fundraising is a task for the community within the school and is only successful with the involvement of volunteers. CRICKET SUPPORT GROUP ANNUAL REPORT 2008-09 2008‘SPIRIT OF CRICKET’ AWARDSTo foster the 'Spirit of Cricket' across all teams, the CSG will present a trophy to the team member who is judged by his coach to have most consistently demonstrated the 'Spirit' throughout the season. Awards will be presented at an 'End of Season Function' to be arranged by the CSG to which all team members and their parents will be invited. Lifetime MembershipLifetime membership costs $100 per family – which entitles the family to special prices for our events and 2 free CSG Caps.
