The Rugby Support Group is a parent group committed to promoting rugby at Newington with the aim of allowing all boys to maximise their enjoyment of the game.

The RSG is committed to assisting with specialist coaching for all age groups, from the First XV at Stanmore to the Under 9s in the Preps, not only to develop skills but also to promote a Newington rugby culture and style, to nurture pride in rugby at the College and help grow the overall school spirit.

From fundraising events, food stalls, tours and the hugely successful and enjoyable Jersey Lunch, the RSG provides equipment and specialist coaching for all Newington Rugby players.

Meeting Dates

RSG meetings are held in the Function Room above the indoor basketball courts and begin at 6:30pm. Meetings dates for 2009 are:

April 6th
May 4th
June 1st
August 3rd
the AGM on October 19th.
