MAJOR GIFTS
Major GiftsA Major Gift is an act of determined generosity – such acts change lives every day.A Major Gift can begin a new chapter in the history of Newington College – they allow the College to discover and promote excellence, to attract and retain the most deserving and brightest students, to build state of the art facilities, to recruit and support world class faculty and to enhance and broaden the College’s outreach programs. A Major Gift can be given at any time and does not necessarily need to be associated with a specific Capital Campaign. A Major Gift can be pledged over time or can become part of a Bequest or Planned Giving program and can be directed to any of the tax deductible Funds administered by the Foundation. Qualified Major Gifts are gifts or pledges of a minimum of $100,000. If you feel you would like to support Newington in a significant way please contact the College’s Development Office on +61 2 9568 9328. We would be delighted to learn of your specific interests and share more extensively with you the College’s plans for the future and discuss with you how your philanthropic gift can support the College. The College appreciates the generosity of several Old Boys who have provided Major Gifts and directed them to the Education Fund to provide full and partial scholarships to boys who otherwise would be unable to attend Newington.
