Our Prep Schools have many special qualities that make them a wonderful place for a young boy to learn.

Welcome from the Headmaster

Newington College is dedicated to excellence in education for boys and the realisation of each child’s potential, providing a balanced curriculum encompassing the spiritual, academic, cultural, physical and practical areas of learning.

Through its wholehearted commitment to the best in education for boys the school is devoted to the pursuit of excellence in all that a boy does and achieves. Each boy is valued for his unique capacity to contribute to the life of the College.

Our Prep Schools have many special qualities that make them a wonderful place for a young boy to learn. From the moment you enter the front door the sense of enjoyment, energy and anticipation is real. Whether a boy has outstanding gifts and talents or needs a differentiated curriculum the Prep Schools tailor programs to suit their needs.

Newington’s tradition of individuality, excellence and community is a trademark of our students; it is the cornerstone on which our school was built and the heritage for its future. Boys leaving the Prep Schools at the end of their primary years take their place in the wider community of the College with confidence, knowing that those years provided the foundations on which to build a successful and satisfying future.
