Newington College is a community that celebrates diversity. We have firm foundations in the Uniting Church tradition and welcome students and families of all faiths and cultural backgrounds.

We strongly believe that being a diverse community enriches us all and we seek to promote tolerance and encourage understanding of all differences.

The atmosphere at Lindfield is open, friendly and supportive, and its strong sense of community spirit unites staff, students and parents in a partnership that enables students to develop as caring individuals capable of making worthwhile contributions to society.

Parents are encouraged to become actively involved in school activities and contribute positively to all aspects of life at Lindfield. The Parents & Friends' Association, and its support groups in the Tuckshop, the Prep Shop (uniforms), Music, Sport, Class Parents and Social Activities meet regularly.

Many social opportunities are created for parents to know each other well. Fundraising is active and greatly appreciated by the school.
