MUSIC ENSEMBLES
Across our three campuses, Newington offers a great variety of ensembles for our boys. All abilities and all musical tastes are considered and ensembles are reviewed on a regular basis. The Music Department is committed to being as inclusive as possible in order to meet the changing needs of our boys. In order to maximize musical growth and development in any person of any age and ability, ensemble music making must be a learning experience that makes tangible links between all musical experiences. At Newington, as well as developing solid group skills, our ensemble philosophy is centred around the reinforcement of concepts presented in academic music classrooms.
