Welcome to the Music Department

The study of Music in its many forms helps to foster in all students an awareness and appreciation of other cultures and their wealth of traditions.

Classroom and performance programs at Newington offer students a range of exciting and challenging opportunities. The Music department manages a comprehensive tutoring program and throughout the year holds a number of concerts which showcase the talents of the school’s various student ensembles, orchestras and choirs.
