Welcome to the Economics DepartmentThe Economics Department offers Newington College students a contemporary and dynamic commercial education. From Year 9 through to the Higher School Certificate there are a range of courses that provide an insight into the role of individuals, businesses and institutions in our local and global communities. At each stage of the Department’s courses students develop analytical, interpretive and both oral and written communication skills. There is wide use of IT in both learning and assessment in all of the subjects that are offered.
