2002 saw the addition of a Multi-Purpose Practice Hall which now houses the college's fine harpsichord, two grand pianos and Heissler Chamber Organ

Opened in 1988, the purpose-built Music School building is fully air conditioned and its construction includes extensive attention to sound insulation.

To its specialist music classrooms, teaching studios, private rehearsal rooms and numerous performance spaces, the school has recently added a Music Practice Hall. Other facilities include:

  • a well equipped electronic music studio
  • a computer-keyboard room equipped for use by elective students
  • a Resource Room and reception area
    large studios for the director of Strings and Director of Brass and Woodwind
  • a chamber music rehearsal and teaching room
  • ten soundproofed practice rooms/teaching studios
  • a drum teaching and practice room
  • orchestral percussion room
  • a musicianship teaching room
  • a large classroom
  • a large room for string chamber orchestra/chamber music rehearsal
  • secure storage rooms for stringed, woodwind and brass instruments

The Centenary Hall seats approximately 1200 and is used for larger concerts and recitals and for musicals and similar productions. The Centenary Hall has a large, three manual Makin Organ and a fine concert grand piano.

The Chapel Choir sings for services and occasional concerts an the gracious acoustics of the College Chapel which also houses the fine Smenge pipe organ built in 1983.
