Each year, Year 12 at Newington are given a unique opportunity to break from study and reflect on a bigger picture.

Conducted in a bush setting, the program encourages each boy to explore his own values system and to make an honest appraisal of what is really important in his life.

Discussion groups and recreational activities encourage the boys to see in each other qualities which may have remained unacknowledged. This is especially valuable for those who do not find it easy to speak about themselves.
The opportunity to share their hopes and aspirations, as well as anxieties, is of enormous benefit to the boys as they face the challenges of their final months of study.
